This weekend, the Miami Franchise Exhibition – otherwise known as the IFA Franchise Show South – was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center – Over 13,000 attendees visited the show looking for franchises and evaluating franchisors for their offerings, concepts, and industry opportunities.

FMS was exhibiting at the show as it does at every MFV show throughout the year.  In 2013 – FMS will exhibit at 15 franchise shows throughout the country.

In addition, at the Miami franchise show, Caring Matters Home Care, Restoration 1, and Bed Bug Chasers all had trade show booths at the show as well. Each franchise system generated a great deal of interest in its concept, brand, and business model. 

On average, each franchise system had over 200 interested franchisees sign up for information at the Franchise Expo South which was an exceptional turnout.

During the show, there was a very diverse and professional showing of unique franchise tradeshow booths representing different franchise brands and concepts.

Franchise Tradeshows are an excellent means to generate interest and awareness in your franchise brand. The lead quality at franchise shows can vary greatly, but typically, because you have met the buyer face-to-face, you have a more qualified lead for franchise sales.

FMShas found that a Franchise Trade Show Lead is worth about two Internet leads in regards to the conversion ratio from lead to a sale.

A Franchise Tradeshow Booth should exhibit the character of your franchise brand, and the vision for your company and should represent a clear value proposition to your franchise buyers.  Remember, the typical interaction at a franchise tradeshow is seconds… have a short time to impress your potential franchisee.
