Restoration 1 Franchise

Restoration 1 has been in the water damage, fire restoration, and mold remediation industry since 2009. Over that time, the organization has created and redefined the process that organizations use for marketing and finding profitable client work in the restoration business.

Restoration 1 was founded by Mr. Andor Kovacs using a marketing system based on experience in other service businesses used over ten years in the field. The Restoration 1 franchise system is designed for fast, efficient, and effective market penetration. The model is essentially based on a traditional man-in-a-van model where a franchisee can start the business with a single vehicle, set of equipment, marketing materials, and a low overhead operating model.

Due to the fact that the revenue model is based on insurance revenue which is generally consistent and not tied to the success of the economy, it is very appealing and offers a strong value proposition.

This model is forward-thinking, grassroots, and unique in that it is based on a strong relationship network with potential referral partners within a territory. The aggressive and different marketing program has proven to be extremely competitive and in most cases has overcome stringent competition in many markets throughout the United States.

When Mr. Kovacs started the business originally, he had very little experience in the restoration field but had an extensive background as a business owner and entrepreneur. He recognized the opportunity for scale and growth in the restoration industry and launched Restoration 1 with the sole purpose of franchising the brand and scaling the model into new markets.

In 2009, Restoration 1 began working with FMS to develop the franchise concept and organize the franchise model. The strategic plan, operational documentation, sales, marketing plans, and franchise model were developed over the course of the next year and a recruitment model was executed to begin developing new markets.

The restoration industry was hyper-competitive and had some of the largest brands in the franchise industry as competitors, but with a strong marketing platform, great brand, and a distinct advantage over other restoration franchise systems in being able to recruit new business and develop consistent revenue growth, Restoration 1 was able to develop a consistent growth model.

Franchise industry resources were brought into the organization as the brand expanded and the need for leadership, support, and training was improved and developed to support the rapidly expanding network. As the network expanded, the opportunity for a large loss division was created as well which leveraged the network and the exponentially multiplied opportunity for the entire franchise network. The restoration franchise was able to develop in the first ten years of franchising over 215 franchises units.
